Jimmy is a patient at Birch Psychiatric Hospital.
In 2001, Jimmy was committed to Birch Psychiatric Hospital for screaming at people in Times Square. He was diagnosed with a schizoaffective disorder. Jimmy remained at the hospital for many years, and Simon told Danny Rand about his diagnosis while Jimmy was eating.[1]
