In 2015, Scott Lang arrived at Jim Paxton's house to attend Cassie Lang's birthday party. Paxton quickly confronted him and made it clear that he was not welcome as Lang had failed to pay child support. They continued to argue, while Lang gave his daughter her birthday present. Eventually, Maggie Lang arrived, intervened and took Lang outside to discuss what he needed to do to see his daughter after Lang had accused him of being an ass-hat. Paxton stood with Cassie as Lang left the party and drove away.[1]

San Francisco Police Dispatch[src]

One night, Yellowjacket invaded Jim Paxton's house, kicked Maggie Lang out and took Cassie Lang hostage. Hearing of this prompted Scott Lang to suit up as Ant-Man to escape from SFPD custody and battle Yellowjacket once again. With an army of ants as reinforcements, Lang in his Ant-Man Suit engaged Yellowjacket on Cassie's toy train set. During the duel, Ant-Man and Yellowjacket threw sections of the Thomas the Tank Engine toy at each other. As ants attacked Yellowjacket, Ant-Man was able to knock him onto the train tracks, causing him to get run over by Thomas the Tank Engine. Yellowjacket then retaliated by throwing the toy at Ant-Man, but the latter knocked the train aside and onto the windowsill. Ant-Man tried to use Pym Particle Discs to enlarge Yellowjacket but he deflected them, causing an ant living there and the toy train on the windowsill to grow to gigantic size.

Scott Lang rescues Cassie Lang

Paxton attempted to rescue Cassie, but the Giant Pet Ant trampled him on the stairs as it was leaving. Eventually, Paxton made it to Cassie and tried to protect her from Yellowjacket. Ant-Man continued fighting Yellowjacket and decided to go subatomic to sabotage the Yellowjacket suit from the inside, causing Yellowjacket to shrink fatally into the Quantum Realm, finally defeating him. Ant-Man succeeded, but also became trapped in the Quantum Realm; however, he had an enlarging Pym Particle Disc remaining and used it to reverse the suit's mechanism, successfully returning to normal size and transported out of the Quantum Realm. Lang then was hugged by Cassie, with Paxton thanking him for saving them.[1]

In 2023, Scott Lang was freed after being trapped in the Quantum Realm since 2018. Lang then ran to Jim Paxton's house in a panic. He then rang the doorbell frantically and knocked on the door several times, until he saw Cassie walk up slowly and open the door. He was relieved to see she was alive, although he was in shock since she was five years older than when he'd last seen her. They then shared an emotional reunion together.
