The subject of this article comes from an alternate universe connecting to the main timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Super Soldier Peggy Carter Universe".

Private James "Jim" Morita was a soldier in the United States Army who was captured by HYDRA and rescued by Captain Carter. He fought alongside Carter and the Howling Commandos through World War II and helped rescue Steve Rogers from captivity at Castle de Krake.

World War II[]

Captured[]

Morita was captured alongside his 107th Infantry Regiment by HYDRA. Morita later witnessed a HYDRA member flying towards the cell. They looked up to find Captain Carter attempting to break them out. The group escaped the building, shooting anyone in their path before hiding in a trench. They were helped out when the HYDRA Stomper emerged from the sky, taking everyone out. The group then cheered for Carter.[1]

Howling Commandos[]

Morita later became a founding member of the Howling Commandos, who fought alongside Captain Carter. They fought for years, taking out many HYDRA bases. On one particular mission, the group intercepted a train. However, HYDRA Stomper soon heard something and told everyone to go. He was then blown up and killed by an explosion.

Although devastated, the team moved on to the Castle de Krake, which would be the last HYDRA base. The Commandos split up from Carter and found the Stomper armor on the wall. They investigated and found Rogers, still alive. They were able to power the suit on to allow Rogers to help Carter. The Commandos eventually made it to Carter and walked in on the Champion of HYDRA. However, they only stayed for a little bit as Rogers carried them out before the Champion got to them. Carter then sacrificed herself to end the Champion as well as the war.[1]
