Jiaying's Assistant is an Inhuman resident of Afterlife who helped Jiaying wage war against S.H.I.E.L.D.
Biography
Living in Afterlife
Jiaying's Assistant was stationed outside a hut in Afterlife as Jiaying walked with Skye after a morning training session. He gave a nod to his leader and she departed from Skye to attend to other business with him.[1]
After the Battle at Calvin Zabo's Building, Calvin Zabo returned to Afterlife and confronted Jiaying about her will of keeping her away from Skye, prompting Jiaying's Assistant to come out and escort Zabo out of the yard into a private room. [2]
Hijacking and Retaking of the Iliad
Jiaying's Assistant was in Afterlife when Robert Gonzales went to the Inhuman settlement and was killed by Jiaying. He and Gordon took care of Gonzales' body before Skye could see it. Afterwards, Jiaying's Assistant seized one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet and fired missiles on Afterlife to further make believe the Inhumans that S.H.I.E.L.D. was declaring war upon them. The night following the ambush, Jiaying's Assistant knocked Skye unconscious after she saw Jiaying murder Raina. Jiaying ordered her Assistant to restrain Skye and get rid of Raina's body. He then joined the other Afterlife Inhumans to hijack the Iliad.[3]
Jiaying ordered her Assistant to take a crate of Terrigen Crystals to the ship's ventilation control room. Jiaying's Assistant then returned to her and watched as the S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjets were approaching. However, he saw that all but one kept approaching the Iliad. Jiaying suspected that Skye was informing her colleagues and sent her Assistant to check her cell. After discovering she had escaped, Jiaying's Assistant returned to his master, who ordered him to take the Terrigen Crystals to a Quinjet so that they could escape. They met Zabo, who they locked in a sealed room. After reaching the deck, they were found by Skye. While Jiaying tried to have her daughter join them, Jiaying's Assistant loaded the Crystals on the Quinjet, but Skye used her powers to dump the Quinjet into the sea and the battle soon ended.[4]

As an Inhuman, Jiaying's Assistant has the genetic potential to gain superhuman powers after undergoing Terrigenesis.
