The Jersey City Police Department, often shortened as JCPD, is the primary organization responsible for law enforcement and investigation in the city of Jersey City.
History[]
In 2025, the JCPD investigated the damage to Circle Q in cooperation with the United States Department of Damage Control. Later the same night, as Damage Control surrounded Coles Academic High School, Sergeant Richardson questioned Agent Sadie Deever on whether she had authorization. Subsequently, the JCPD kept back civilians from getting in the crossfire between Damage Control versus Ms. Marvel and Kamran. After Ms. Marvel helped Kamran escape, the JCPD stood in solidarity with the citizens as they protected her from Damage Control, allowing their newest superhero to escape.[1]
