In 2010, while on the run, Bruce Banner and Betty Ross took a boat from Jersey City to New York City.^[2]

In 2024, a statue of Captain America's Shield was added to the Statue of Liberty. This sparked debates about whether it was a good idea. Jersey City resident Nicky called into a radio show and said that it would be ridiculous to add it and that the Statue should be left alone.^[3]
