Jeremiah was a player of the Chatsworth High School basketball team. During a game against St. Sebastian's Preparatory School, Jeremiah sticked to defending on Tyrone Johnson, but had a tendency to hit him without the referee signaling his fouls. This annoyed Johnson so much that he eventually punched Jeremiah in the face. Jeremiah attempted to retaliate and to tackle Johnson, but he was pinned on the ground by Johnson, who kept hitting him until the other players, the referee, and the coaches ended the fight.[1]
