Jemini is a member of the Dora Milaje.
Biography[]
Dora Milaje[]
Death of a Monarch[]
In the wake of T'Challa's untimely death, Jemini attended the funeral where she listened to Sope's monologue before taking the casket. Her and the rest of the Dora Milaje then walked through North Triangle with the casket on their shoulders, doing a dancing ritual along with the other Wakandans. Reaching Zawavari, they watched and saluted as the casket was beamed up by a Royal Talon Fighter.[1]
Disturbance at the Border[]
A year later, Queen Mother Ramonda called a special meeting with the leaders of Wakanda. Jemini stood at her post while the tribe elders, Golden Tribe, Dora Milaje, and Jabari Tribe argued about what to do with Namor, the king of Talokan who approached Ramonda and Shuri on Wakandan soil the night before. He wanted Wakanda to capture a scientist who created a Vibranium Detector. They eventually decided on Okoye and Shuri going to Cambridge to grab the scientist, breaking Namor's inevitable ultimatum.[1]
A New Leader[]
Okoye returned with grave news; she had lost Princess Shuri to the Talokanil, who ambushed her. A grief sticken Ramonda berated Okoye in front of everyone, barely gaving her room to talk. This ended with Okoye's humiliating exit from the Dora Milaje, placing her spear in the ground, signifying her end. Ayo was then appointed as general of the Dora.[1]
Namor's Revenge[]
In retaliation for Shuri's rescue in Talokan, the Talokanil Armed Forces and Namor attacked the Golden City, getting in through the water. The Dora Milaje charged into battle, saving many rescue men from getting tranced overboard from the Talokanil hypnotic waves. They then fought the Talokanil, but to no avail as Namor plowed through the Wakandan army and killed Queen Ramonda, leading to Shuri's grief. However, Shuri overcame it and recreated the Heart-Shaped Herb, allowing her to become the new Black Panther.[1]
Ambushing the Talokanil[]
Under Shuri's new leadership, the Dora Milaje, Jabari Tribe, and other Wakandan forces lured the Talokanil Armed Forces to the Sea Leopard, a boat in the ocean. When the Talokanil arrived, they charged into battle. Namor took care of many troops like Ironheart before being captured in a Royal Talon Fighter by Black Panther. Now, the forces had to hold the Talokanil at bay while Shuri took care of Namor.
Jemini and the rest protected the boat as Talokanil tried to get on. Jemini strapped herself to a cable and jumped off the side of the Sea Leopard as the Jabari held them back. They then fought the ambushing Talokanil who tried to climb up the side of the boat. Back on the top, they fought the impending Talokanil before Namora took out the engine, leading to the boat partially tipping over. Jemini and the rest were soon cornered by the Talokanil, Aneka held the front line as Jemini stood behind her. They were losing hope just as Black Panther and Namor arrived, announcing the end of the conflict.[1]
New King[]
Jemini and the Dora Milaje arrived at Warrior Falls to witness the incornation of Shuri as the new queen. However, they were all surprised to see M'Baku arrive on Shuri's ship, announcing that he was challenging for the throne.[1]
