Jason was the boxing trainer of Geoffrey Wilder. During one of their sessions, Jason noticed that Wilder seemed more brutal than usual. As Wilder shared his feeling that he was being chased by someone, Jason expressed his confidence that Wilder would best any opponent he would be facing. However, when Wilder mentioned that the situation was currently complicated with his wife Catherine, Jason jokingly admitted that he would be frightened as well in place of Wilder.
Later, as Geoffrey had left to get some time in the sauna, Jason was murdered by Jonah, who hit him in the head with a dumbbell so he would be able to attack Wilder.[1]
