Traveling across Asia, Danny Rand and Ward Meachum learned about Orson Randall's shipment to Jakarta. As they were searching for Randall, Rand infiltrated into his warehouse in Jakarta and stolen the shipment.[2]

Helmut Zemo steals the book from an auction
- The city was supposed to make a Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Captain America: Civil War. In the scene, which is the alternative introduction to Helmut Zemo, he had used poison gas to massacre the attendees of an auction in the city, before then stealing the Winter Soldier Book.[3][4]
