Living in Broxton, Oklahoma, Jack worked at a McDonald's. In 1982, Sylvie Laufeydottir walked in and Jack asked what she wanted to eat. She replied that she didn't want anything alive or with a head, among other things. After a bit of an awkward pause, he suggested that she could try their Chicken McNuggets but Laufeydottir turned her on him and began surveying the restaurant. While Laufeydottir looked around at the restaurant, Jack suggested various other menu items she should try. Once Laufeydottir saw all of the restaurants patrons happily eating their food, she turned back to Jack and told him she wanted to try everything.[1]
