During his youth, Peter Quill would acquire a souvenir t-shirt from J.D. Canoe Rental. Quill would wear the shirt the night he was kidnapped and he would keep it with him for the next twenty-six years. That same shirt would eventually be worn by Bereet after she awoke on the Milano.[1]

When Peter Quill was kidnapped by the Ravagers, he was wearing a souvenir t-shirt from J.D. Canoe Rental. Quill would continue to wear the shirt throughout Ego's Expansion.[2]
