History[]
Defending Against the Deviants[]
Fending off their archenemies, the Eternals fought off the Deviants, sending the people of Babylon through the Ishtar Gate to safety and shutting it behind them. Makkari, Thena, Gilgamesh, Ikaris, and Kingo defended the gate and the city against the attacking Deviants, with Gilgamesh even punching Enkidu, causing him to crash into the gate, dead.[1]
