Rumors from the New World[]
- "Mi nombre es don Rodrigo Alphonso Gonzolo. Y en nombre de Su Majestad, la reina de España, he venido a reclamar la fuente de la juventud.[3]"
- ―Rodrigo Gonzolo[src]
When rumors of a lake flowing with the powers of the Tesseract travelled across Europe, Isabella I tasked her Conquistadores, led by Rodrigo Gonzolo, with finding it, believing it to be the fabled Fountain of Youth.[4]
Confronted by Kahhori[]
Eventually, there was no return of Rodrigo Gonzolo, so Isabella sent Jacobo and then the Mendoza brothers, with neither of them returning. A servant soon concluded that they had lost the new world. However, Isabella did not believe this, claiming her armies to be unmatched and her fleets unrivaled, and she questioned what nation would be stealing from her. Suddenly, the Mohawk tribe, led by Kahhori marched through a portal.
Isabella was angry at Kahhori's threat so she tried to have her arrested, only to watch Kahhori use her powers to easily dispose of the guards. Kahhori then explained that she was not there for the throne; she was there for peace. She further explained, saying that the world is rich, but it was neither of theirs to claim and that their health depended on her health. Isabella told Kahhori that her magic was not scary, to which Kahhori responded by lifting Isabella off of the ground. Isabella yelled at Kahhori to let her down, which Kahhori did, but soon after destroyed Isabella's throne. Kahhori then gave Isabella an ultimatum, to bring peace, or Kahhori would destroy Spain. Before Isabella could accept, Strange Supreme arrived, wanting to see Kahhori.[6]
