Ironheart is an upcoming American web television series, based on the Marvel superheroine of the same name. It will be an installment of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is produced by Marvel Studios and will be released on Disney+.[1]

On July 20, 2018, it was reported by various media outlets that Marvel Studios was developing a movie based on Riri Williams/Ironheart. The script was written by Jada Rodriguez and appeared on The Black List.[2]

On December 10, 2020, during Disney’s 2020 Investor Day, Kevin Feige announced that an Ironheart series was in development for Disney+ with Dominique Thorne cast as the title character in the series.[1]
