Synopsis[]
Billionaire inventor, Tony Stark, always put himself first...until the day his inventions were used for evil. But when Tony tries to set things right, his inventions are turned against him. In order to survive, Tony invents and builds himself a high-tech suit of armor and promises to use this technology to help those in need as the Invincible Iron Man! Action-packed narration and thrilling sound effects add to the magic in this exciting storybook-and-CD set.[1]
Plot[]
Tony Stark is the CEO of Stark Industries. Tony Stark decided to skip the Apogee Award event he was supposed to go to, meaning Obadiah Stane, his business partner, had to accept it for him. Later, after this event, Pepper Potts confronted him about being late for a plane but Stark sarcastically shrugged it off. He then packed up his equipment and hopped on the plane to Afghanistan. He showed off his weapons to a chrowd. However, on the convey back his vehicle was attacked and he was kidnapped. His chest had shrapnel kept inside from the attack and he had a device that kept him alive. His kidnappers wanted him to build them a missile but he refused so Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar showed him all the supplies they had. He began to secretly work on a miniaturized Arc Reactor, with the help of Ho Yinsen, who he eventually told what he was really making. He then showed him his blueprint for the Mark I Iron Man Armor. A few days later, he managed to escape and was picked up by a military helicopter who took him home. Upon his return he had a press conference, where he announced that he would sucking down weapons production of Stark Industries. Stane confronted him about this leading to him seeing Stark's Arc Reactor.

Stane confronted him about this leading to him seeing Stark's Arc Reactor. He then returned home and began working on the Mark II Iron Man Armor. He worked on it with the help of his AI, J.A.R.V.I.S.. He became obsessed with the work, worrying Potts. Once the Mark II was ready he went for a test flight, eventually crashing through his home due to not thinking about how he'll land. As time went by, he had finished the Mark III Iron Man Armor and learned that Stane had been the one selling his weapons to al-Wazar. He flew and took down Al-Wazar's henchmen. However, what Stark didn't know he had secretly tasked some engineers to create him his Iron Monger Armor. Stark had sent Potts to hack the Stark Industries confirming his suspicions. He flew off to fight him. This led to him battling the Iron Monger on top of the Stark Industries Headquarters. They clashed until Stark had Potts overload the Arc Reactor building at the Headquarters, causing Iron Monger to fall into it, killing him.
The next day, at a press conference, he told the world he is Iron Man, causing the crowd to erupt.
