The Mark XXXIII Armor (codenamed Silver Centurion), also known as the Enhanced Energy Suit, was Tony Stark's thirty-third Iron Man suit. It was a part of the Iron Legion. It was destroyed by the Clean Slate Protocol activated by Tony Stark.

History

Silver Centurion 1

Tony Stark using the Silver Centurion Armor.

The Silver Centurion armor was created by Tony Stark after the battle of New York. Part of the Iron Legion, this was the first suit Stark used in the battle against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers. When Red Snapper's destruction caused instability to the oil platform, J.A.R.V.I.S. sent the Centurion armor to protect him.

Silver Centurion 2

Silver Centurion's "Hidden Blade".

Using it, Tony Stark nearly rescued Pepper before Killian arrived through the floor. Caught off guard, Killian applied extreme heat to the Centurion's chest, severely damaging it. As he lay there, Stark used the Centurion's "hidden blade" to slice off Killian's arm. The damaged Centurion was left on the floor. It is unclear, due to its damaged state, whether or not the Silver Centurion self-destructed.[1]

Capabilities

It saves more energy than any of the other suits. Stark most likely made this because one of his issues with his suits in battle was that they run out of power. It has blades hidden in the arms that can be used in battle, a design carried over from the Mark XXX. This suit was among those that adapted the Mark VII's design of having collapsible parts that allowed the user to step in and out of the suit seamlessly, which would also allow the suit to eject the user on command.

It has a slight protective force field, which allows the suit to attract or repulse objects using its magnetic polarity. The suit is also capable of firing pulse cannons that build in intensity the further they travel.[2]
