The Iron Man Armor: Mark XXV, codenamed Striker and Thumper, was Tony Stark's twenty-fifth Iron Man suit and was specialized for construction, possessing two pneumatic jackhammers. It was a part of the Iron Legion and was destroyed by the Clean Slate Protocol.
History[]

Striker saving James Rhodes
The Striker Armor was created by Tony Stark some time after the Battle of New York. As part of the Iron Legion, it took part in Stark's battle against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers. It saved the life of James Rhodes by brutally yet comically using its pile-driver arms to catapult two Extremis soldiers into the air, where another Iron Man armor could dispatch them. It was later destroyed when the "Clean State" protocol was activated.[4]
Capabilities[]
The Striker armor is designed to help in heavy construction and combat thanks to its powerful jackhammer-like arms which can pulverize thick concrete and its ability to withstand high temperatures and electrical surges.

Behind the Scenes[]
- According to the Mark XXV's designer Rodney Fuentebella, "Thumper is Tony's rough and tough 'blue-collar' suit. When designing' it, I latched to the idea that Tony has a workingman's soul. I was inspired by construction equipment and how it's designed to do manual labour. The Thumper suit is a side of Tony's ego that is raw, tough as nails, and gets the job done."[3]
