The Mark XLI Armor (codenamed Bones) was Tony Stark's forty-first Iron Man suit and was designed to be a light weight suit that specialized in maneuverability. It was part of the Iron Legion and fought against the Extremis soldiers.

History

Bones

The Bones Armor at the Roxxon Norco.

The Bones armor was created after the Battle of New York by Tony Stark. Part of the Iron Legion, Bones was used in the Battle on the Norco, against Aldrich Killian and his Extremis soldiers. It separated into several parts which flew independently, hitting several foes at once and then reassembling. It was later destroyed either by the Extremis soldiers or the Clean Slate Protocol[1]

Capabilities

It is a black and gold, lighter version of a full Iron Man suit, with a focus on speed and maneuverability. This armor has indentations and open areas in it, making the pieces of the armor fit into place and function seamlessly and giving the user more physical capabilities than most suits.[1]
