Changes: Iron Man Armor: Mark IX

The Mark IX armor was the second suit made by Iron Man after the Battle of New York. Tony tried to think of any possible scenarios that could happen at any time and tried to make an armor that could protect many people at any time. It is part of the Iron Legion. It was destroyed by the Pepper Potts.

History

Tony used the Mark IX to get to and from the restaurant where he met with Rhodes to discuss the recent Mandarin attacks.

On the Battle on the Norco, after Tony Stark exploded Mark XLII on the failed attempt to kill Aldrich Killian, Mark IX appered and targeted Killian and Pepper Potts, since both of them were enhanced by Extremis. Pepper managed to destroy the armor with a punch on its chest, and used its armor do shoot a bullet she kicked toward Killian, finally killing him on the explosion.

Abilities

The Mark IX has more weapon systems than any of the past suits. It has feet that allow it to connect to the ground so the user doesn't have to move during battle.
