Continuity

The book is a retelling and reimagining of the events that happened before and during the Duel of Monaco albeit with substantial differences with the current continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The storybook says that Ivan Vanko finished his suit weeks before the events on Monaco, with the subsequent release of Marvel Studios' The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline, this no longer lines up with the MCU. Due to this, and other differences, the book is considered to be non-canonical within the franchise.
