Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark is a superhero known as Iron Man who fought Loki before taking on the Mandarin.

Battle of New York[]
Iron Man fighting Loki
In 2012, the Frost Giant, Loki attacked New York City with his army of Chitauri. Iron Man flew into battle and blasted the Chitauri, who were riding on their chariots. Along the way, Iron Man was able to pick up power sources, which he used to fuel his Arc Reactor, allowing him to use his uni-beam. Eventually, Iron Man got to Loki and dueled him. Loki tried to blast Iron Man with Gungnir, but Iron Man withstood the attacks and defeated Loki, gaining the Tesseract and stopped the invasion.[3]

- Iron Man Armor: Mark VII: Iron Man used his armor during the Battle of New York. When getting enough power, Stark could use his unibeam.
- Arc Reactor: To keep himself alive, Stark had an arc reactor implanted in his chest.
- Tesseract: Having defeated Loki, Stark gained the Tesseract and hoisted it up in victory.
