Iron Fist sticks to Daredevil's word to protect his city. Rand breaks off tension between the Yangsi Gonshi and the Golden Tigers before a gang war starts. He has also left Rand Enterprises. Colleen Wing has stopped teaching due to her past experiences. Instead, she volunteers at a community center. Wing becomes interested in a box she found with her family crest on it. While working, Rand meets Mary, a very nice woman who loves to paint. Rand and Ward Meachum get invited to a meeting. Upon showing up, they find Joy Meachum, who asks to leave the company. Rand immediately signs the papers for her, but Ward angrily leaves. Later, Rand sees Davos, who is still angry at him.

Mary returns home and sees many notes on walls. She disposes of them. Rand walks in the street and sees Mary once again. He starts thinking she is attracted to him and says he is dating Wing. This makes Mary disoriented, so Rand invites her over. While at the Chikara Dojo, which has been refurbished into Rand and Wing's house, Mary goes to the bathroom and reverts to an alter named Walker, who is much more serious. Walker quickly leaves. Wing gets involved with a man named Frank Choi and trails clues until she find's a gang led by Ryhno. She finds herself at gunpoint by BB, but quickly disarms him. BB apologizes saying that he has to do what Ryhno says.

Later, Davos meets with leader of the Yangsi Gonshi, Hai-Qing Yang, and uses an ancient technique to give him a stroke. Mary calls the Dojo and asks for Rand, but Wing tells her he is out. Mary then quickly hangs up and opens a note telling her to stay away from Rand. Iron Fist returns to the streets to stop more gang wars. Wing worries that he is putting to much on himself. Ward tries to meet with Joy who knows he has been going to NA meetings and also says she is working with Davos. Ward and Rand decide to invite them for dinner to clear the air.

Mary gives Rand a pile of photos of himself saying that a woman named Walker is watching him. At the dinner, Ward bails and instead talks with an NA member, Bethany. Davos goes for air after an argument, but sees the photos and leaves. Hai-Qing Yang's wife, Sherry Yang asks for protection from Rand and Wing during a gang meeting. Suddenly, Chen Wu attacks, but is stabbed in the eye by Yang. Later, Davos and Joy meet with Walker wondering how Rand got the photos they paid for. Davos threatens her, but Walker easily attacks back and stops herself from making physical contact. Wing finds a box holding her family medallion.

Rand hears of Yang's stroke and meets him, unconscious in a bed. He notices the bruising on his neck and concludes that it was Davos' doing using the technique. Yang wakes and tells Rand, "Hancock 212" with no context. Later, Misty Knight meets with Rand and Wing, telling Rand to stay out of stuff because he accidentally hurt a police officer while stopping the gangs. The two tell Knight what is happening and Knight figures out that Yang's message means the Hancock Transport. Yet, she tells Rand not to interfere. Meanwhile, Joy figures out that Mary Walker has Dissociative Identity Disorder. Davos arrives at the Transport yard and finds a box containing a past Iron Fist. He proceeds to cut the Mark of Shou-Lao off of the corpse's chest.

Later, Rand talks on the phone with Wing, but is suddenly attacked and knocked unconscious by Walker, who had sneaked up on him. Rand wakes up restrained in a facility with Davos. His former friend proceeds to use the Crane Sisters to enact an ancient ritual that tattoos the serpent on Davos' back with substances from both the former Iron Fist and Rand's blood to transfer the Iron Fist over to Davos.

Davos uses his new Iron Fist, glowing red, to find Golden Tigers' bases. He takes one down and Wu joins Davos. Walker then releases Rand onto the street where he is found by Ryhno. Ryhno tasks BB with calling Wing to strike a deal. Wing and Knight arrive at Ryhno's base and save Rand. Meanwhile, Joy brings Walker to her apartment to give her money. However, Knight arrives and arrests them both. At the precinct, Rand makes Walker take him to Davos. While on the trip, she explains her DID. With information from Walker, Knight arrests the Crane Sisters who agree to help get the Iron Fist back to Rand. Later, Walker and Rand find Davos and attack. Davos breaks Rand's leg and Walker starts to fight, but rain comes down, causing a trigger that brings out Mary. The ambulance arrives while Mary walks away oblivious.

Rand gets fitted with a high-tech brace to speed up his recovery. Afterward, Davos recruits Ryhno's gang. Ward, who is distraught over Joy, gets into an argument with Bethany then drunkenly fights the bartender. Afterwards, he decides to apologize to Bethany and goes to the meeting, but waits outside. He eavesdrops and hears Bethany say she is pregnant with his child. Rand asks Wing to rehab and train him. Wing only agrees on the count that their relationship doesn't get in the way. Rand agrees, effectively ending their relationship.

Mary records a message for Walker talking about their past and how Walker got them out of Sokovia when they were trapped. Later, Walker watches it and is confused. She always thought Mary got them out. She becomes worried of a possible third alter. BB begins to rebel against Davos. Later, Ward strikes a deal with Walker so that Joy is protected against Davos. Davos takes Ryhno and his gang to Henry Yip an enemy of the game. He tells Yip that he is now under his protection. Yip tells him that he doesn't want any more trouble which implies that he thinks Davos is a bad man. The angry Davos then kills Yip, which is the final straw for Ryhno. Davos orders Crank to kill him. After more training, Rand makes the decision that Wing deserves the fist.

BB gets a call from Crank who tricks him into giving his location. Meanwhile, Davos scolds Joy because he thinks she gave info about the Crane Sisters. Suddenly, both that Yangsi Gonshi and Golden Tigers arrive. Davos pushes Joy off of a railing trying to kill her. Joy regains consciousness with a gash on her head. She tries to bribe the guard, Wu, but he doesn't accept. Crank shows up to meet with BB and stabs him. Meanwhile, Wing and Rand fight Davos, being able to drug him. Ward, Walker, and Knight find Joy and save her. Ward shoots Wu in the neck and Walker finishes him off. She then tranquilizes Knight and attempts to lay a trap for Davos.

IFS2x09 Colleen Wing (Iron Fist Glow)

Davos is brought to the dojo where they use the Crane Sisters to start the ritual on Wing. Davos wakes up halfway through, but Wing still manages to summon a white iron fist. However, since Davos is awake, they both have it now, but it is dangerous to share the energy. Davos escapes while Wing tries to finish the ritual. Davos goes to the warehouse where Walker waits. Knight becomes fearful that killing him before the ritual is complete could injure Wing. Knight then works to wake Mary. Eventually, they are able to complete the transfer and Davos is arrested.

Ward meets with Bethany and talks about her pregnancy. She tells him he can't be in the child's life until he fixes his own. Wing returns home to find a letter from Rand saying he saw her medallion and saw the opposite side had an iron fist symbol on it. He now believes it is his destiny to find the meaning and that them meeting each other was no coincidence. Rand arrives at the Rand Enterprises private jet and sees Ward, who tries to stop him. However, he is convinced to join Rand.

IFS2 Colleen Wing Harnesses Chi (Katana)

Months later, Wing fights gangs in the street and has now been able to channel her chi into her Katana. In Hokkaido, Ward asks a man for Orson Randall. The man tries to shoot Rand, who is behind Ward, but Rand shoots chi infused bullets that hit the bullets mid air.
