- "Do you know what this place is?"
"I do."
"Then you know I'm not strong enough." - ―Francis Xavier Delgado and Adina Johnson[src]
Irish Channel Sober Living Center is a sober living house located in New Orleans.
History[]
Feeling that he had failed Tyrone Johnson and losing control of his life, Francis Xavier Delgado attempted to start a new life at the Irish Channel Sober Living Center, fighting against his alcoholism and trying to make amends for his past mistakes. He was visited by Tyrone's mother Adina, who wanted to handed him over a file which could clear both Tyrone and Billy Johnson's name of the crimes they had been accused of. Delgado was reluctant to accept the file, but Adina insisted, prompting Delgado to recall that he could only accept if Adina gave him the file after a confession.
Therefore, using the shutter door to recreate the setup of a confessional, Delgado and Adina sat next to each other and began Adina's confession. Adina then narrated how she had held James Connors captive, and confessed that he had murdered him as retribution for Billy's death. This left Delgado horrified, and he began questioning why Adina had come to seek his help in the first place, but Adina insisted that she needed him and walked away from the living center, leaving the file for Delgado behind her.[1]
