Bickell agreeing to help Eddy Costa's work
Irene Bickell was tasked by the NYPD with the examining of Nathan Silva's corpse to find evidence to link his murder with Gregory Sallinger. Bickell met with Eddy Costa at the NYPD Crime Laboratory to examine the hair that CSI found on Silva's corpse, however, she already logged out of the system, as her shift was done. Bickell told Costa that she needed to get back home to her husband, and although Costa had his husband waited for his as well, he asked Bickell to help him with the case, as Sallinger's arrest was his priority.
Due to their friendship, Bickell agreed to help him and proceeded to examine the hair. However, they both smelled some bad smell and found out that pipe behind them burst and a stream of excrement was grew. NYPD officer entered the lab and informed both Bickell and Costa that they need to leave the facility due to bio-hazard protocol. Bickell and Costa proceeded to leave the lab only to find their work sabotaged, as someone destroyed the only evidence against Sallinger.[1]
