The Ionized Air Cannon is a small, non-lethal weapon designed and constructed by Donnie Gill during his time as a cadet at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy of Science and Technology.
History[]
During his time at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy of Science and Technology, Donnie Gill created several new designs, including the Ionized Air Cannon, a weapon of small size giving it double the pressurization by making it compact. Upon reviewing the item when visiting Gill, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Leo Fitz commended Gill's design and was impressed by the potential of the weapon.
Seth Dormer later used the Ionized Air Cannon on Fitz to render him unconscious after he returned into Gill's room as he had been warned by Jemma Simmons that Gill and Dormer had staged the Freezing Storm Attacks together. The blast immediately threw Fitz away and incapacitated him.[1]
