The time has come for you to choose a side.
I know, I know...this is probably the hardest decision
you'll make in your entire life.
But before you update your status, take the time to watch (or re-watch) the following movies. A second, third, or fourth viewing of these will help any Marvel newbie understand how deep the rift between Captain America and Iron Man is. Because, believe me, this has been a long time coming!
If you're leaning towards Team Cap, watch: Captain America: The First Avenger, than The Avengers, followed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and finally Avengers: Age of Ultron . You'll see just how devoted Steve Rogers is to those he considers his friends and how he'll always stick with them "until the end of the line."
If you're Team Iron Man, watch: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. You'll notice that Tony Stark is no longer the playboy billionaire you once knew and that he is willing to make sacrifices in order to preserve world peace.
If you're like us and need more information, you can always pick up a copy of the Civil War comics. These will give you an in-depth look as to what led up to this universal event and what roles your favorite superheroes played in the outcome. It's also always nice to see just how influential the comics were to the movie adaptation.
Either way we hope you'll make a decision before the movies release on May 6th, 2016. We'll also keep our fingers crossed that none of your love ones are on the opposing side!
