An Incursion is a probable result of prolonged Multiversal travel that can cause one or more universes to be entirely destroyed.

In 2018, Thanos started a crusade to gather the Infinity Stones. Doctor Strange used the Darkhold to search the Multiverse, using dreamwalking, to find a way to stop him. However, his actions resulted in an Incursion, which destroyed another universe and killed everyone in that universe.[1]
Sinister Strange's Reality[]

In another universe, Doctor Strange used dreamwalking to travel across the Multiverse to kill versions of himself. This eventually caused an Incursion between the universe he originated from and another one. The Incursion managed to destroy his universe to the point where he was the only one left alive.[1]
Clea's Arrival[]

In late 2024, Doctor Strange met Clea who informed him that he had caused an Incursion and insisted that they had to fix it.[1]

After Janet van Dyne was captured by Kang the Conqueror, he revealed to her how the Multiversal War between his Variants caused countless Incursions and threatened the stability of the Multiverse as a whole, which led to his campaign that resulted in his exile to the Quantum Realm.[2]

- In the comics, the incursions are when two realities' Earths collide over an 8-hour period, resulting in the destruction of both Earths and their realities. This contracts the entire multiverse, leading to more collisions and the early death of the multiverse. It is possible to stop an incursion by prematurely destroying another universe's Earth.
- In the comics, the incursions happened because the Beyonders decided to end the multiverse and created a bomb known as the Molecule Man in every reality. Doctor Doom ("Rabum Alal") and the Molecule Man of Earth-616 began killing them early in the past, but this set off the incursions, as per the Beyonders' design. The incursions ultimately ended the multiverse.
- While Doom could not stop the Beyonders' apocalypse plan, he took down the Beyonders themselves and stole their power. This allowed him to salvage a small portion of the multiverse as Battleworld. Later, Reed Richards used that power to restart the multiverse.
