The "Imperceptible Bastian Cooper" Universe is a universe where Bastian Cooper suddenly gained imperceptibility powers at eight years old.

And I go outside and someone hands me this bouquet of red balloons, and I don't know why. No other kid has them. And then my parents, they wheel out this... like, giant birthday cake."

Bastian Cooper's family went to their house in upstate New York to celebrate Cooper's eighth birthday. Cooper was handed a bouquet of red balloons, and although Cooper expected the other children to have a similar bouquet, they did not. Cooper's parents then brought out a large birthday cake to celebrate Cooper. However, as Cooper's parents called out to him, Cooper developed a superpower of imperceptibility which did not allow him to be seen or observed by anyone around him, and no one knew that he was in the room with them.[1]

- Bastian Cooper dreams this universe as a result of his feeling of isolation and people not noticing him prior to his actions as Muse. Heather Glenn interpreted the dream as the result of Cooper's parents putting a significant amount of pressure on him.
- In the comics, Muse's body acts like a vortex absorbing all sensory information, making him imperceptible even to Daredevil. Although the Daredevil: Born Again character Bastian Cooper does not have this ability, the Variant of him in this universe is an acknowledgement of these powers.
