- "They're beginning to touch the Multiverse. And if we let them... they will take everything we've built. So let's stop wasting time."
- ―Immortus to Rama-Tut and Centurion[src]
Victor Timely, known as Immortus is a co-leader of the Council of Kangs. Following the death of his exiled Variant, Kang the Conqueror, Immortus began discussing action with the Council concerning the threat other universal individuals' interactions posed to their dynasty.
Biography[]
Multiversal War[]
Discovering the existence of the Multiverse, Victor Timely collaborated with his alternate selves, sharing the knowledge and technology to to aid in the development of their respective realities. Adopting the name Immortus, he founded and led the assembly of their Variants with Centurion and Rama-Tut. However, some of his Variants sought to conquer the Multiverse, such as Kang the Conqueror who started an all-out Multiversal War between all Variants. Immortus fought in the war to preserve his own universe, until He Who Remains ultimately ended the war by harnessing the power of Alioth, and isolated the Sacred Timeline, preventing Immortus and other Variants from existing in it.[4][5]
Return to Power[]
Banishing Kang the Conqueror[]
- "They exiled me down here. They're afraid of me."
- ―Kang the Conqueror[src]
Once He Who Remains was killed by Sylvie Laufeydottir,[5] Immortus and the Council of Kangs managed to resurface and assemble once again. Deeming Kang the Conqueror too dangerous, Immortus and the Council made the decision to banish Kang into the Quantum Realm.[6]
Holding a Meeting[]
During his exile, Kang the Conqueror died in the Quantum Realm at the hands of Ant-Man and the Wasp, which concerned Immortus upon discovering it. During a meeting with Rama-Tut and Centurion, Immortus remarked that more and more people are slowly discovering the existence of the Multiverse and they pose threat to everything they have built. Immortus ultimately decided that the Council must take action, so he summoned all Variants he could reach to preserve their dynasty from any threats.[4]
