Hunter H-98 was a Variant who was taken by the Time Variance Authority and had his memory suppressed so that he could be a member of the organization that protects the Sacred Timeline from Variants.[3]

In an alternate timeline, Hunter H-98 responded to a Nexus event where he arrested and detained a variant, whom he had to subdue by bending his arm around his back in front of Hunter A-23 and a young Sylvie Laufeydottir.[1]
