Hunter D-90 is a soldier for the Time Variance Authority, who assisted Mobius M. Mobius and Loki in various investigations of attacks on TVA agents in the Sacred Timeline. Acting from the orders of Judge Ravonna Renslayer, D-90 later pruned Mobius when the latter realized that all TVA agents were in fact Variants themselves, though his own discoveries would prove Mobius to be correct.
Realizing his mistake, D-90 testified against Renslayer as the TVA debated on their new purpose, and later assisted Loki and Mobius in capturing renegade General Dox and protecting Victor Timely, though he would be pruned by Brad Wolfe. Rescued from the Void, D-90 then worked with the TVA as they transition to a new era of duties.

Early Life[]
Abducted and Brainwashed[]
Before being given his false name, Hunter D-90 was a Variant who was taken by He Who Remains and had his memory suppressed so that he could be a member of the Time Variance Authority, an organization that protected the Sacred Timeline from other kinds of Variants.[3][4]
TVA Hunter[]
Investigating an Ambush[]
Following a failed mission on the part of the Minutemen, where they were ambushed by a Variant, D-90 reported to a room for a briefing. There, Hunter B-15 told the group about the ambush and introduced them to Loki, who was a variant, but would help him despite being untrustworthy. When Loki started to become arrogant, B-15 reminded him of his Variant status. They then talked about Lokis and their tendencies as the variant they were catching was a Loki.
Arriving in an alternate 1985, the hunters approached the scene and saw the abandoned helmet of Hunter C-20. They then looked around some more, but B-15 pushed them to set a Reset Charge as the energy was approaching a Nexus Event. However, Loki stopped them, saying that if he were himself, he would be waiting outside for them. Mobius M. Mobius decided to listen, but as Loki went on, he realized Loki's ulterior motive and dismissed him. The group then pruned the timeline and left.[1]
Roxxcart Disaster[]

Hunter D-90 went on a mission with Hunter B-15, Loki, Mobius M. Mobius and several Minutemen to Haven Hills, Alabama in the year 2050. They walked into the Roxxcart Mall and B-15 decided to split up to search for the Variant. Mobius wanted to go with Loki, but B-15 decided that Mobius would go with D-90 and that she would go with Loki. Mobius and D-90 walked into the disaster shelter and D-90 immediately grabbed a person's bag looking for Reset Charges. Mobius stopped him, telling him not to make the people anymore scared than they were. However, before D-90 could argue, a Minuteman alerted them that they found Hunter C-20.
D-90 sees Hunter C-20
They found C-20 in a backroom, repeating the same words over and over again, prompting D-90 to suggest that she was off the dial. C-20 revealed to them that she told the variant where the Time-Keepers were. D-90 tried to contact B-15, but was unable too.
D-90 runs with Mobius M. Mobius to stop Loki
D-90 and Mobius left C-20 with the Minutemen and found B-15 getting up off the floor and without Loki. D-90 instantly believed that Loki betrayed them. They then witnessed the lights go out and reset charges around the building go through Timedoors. Eventually, they spotted Loki and tried to catch up to him, only for him to exit through a Timedoor himself.[1]

Hunter D-90 and other Minutemen were tasked by Ravonna Renslayer to join her to confront Mobius M. Mobius after he and Loki returned from the Time Cell. D-90 then gave Renslayer her TemPad back to her and followed her orders to prune Mobius with his Time Stick.[5]

After being called in by Ravonna Renslayer, Hunter D-90 and a group of Minutemen rushed into the TVA courtroom to take Sylvie Laufeydottir into custody. When they arrived, Sylvie jumped behind the judge desk, while Renslayer asked Sylvie to come out so they could talk about the Time Variance Authority. Sylvie agreed as long as D-90 and the Minutemen were gone. D-90 watched as Renslayer kept talking to Sylvie until Sylvie stood up and pruned herself with Renslayer's Time Stick. D-90 was surprised by this, but Renslayer seemed pleased.[6]

D-90 learns the truth about the TVA

Hunter D-90 and his group of Minutemen went on a mission to Fremont, Ohio in 2018. They went to Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. During the mission, D-90 found Hunter B-15 and chased her into the vice principal's office. Surprised that she was there and not in custody, D-90 asked what she was doing there, but both were interrupted by Rebecca Tourminet, a woman identical to Ravonna Renslayer, who demanded to know why they were there. D-90 immediately became confused, but B-15 told him that Renslayer was Tourminet's Variant and that they had lots to talk about. B-15 then told D-90 and the other Minutemen the truth about them being Variants and the TVA.[4]

Hunter D-90 was soon summoned into the War Room for questioning. D-90 testified about seeing Rebecca Tourminet in 2018. He then walked out of the room to see Hunter B-15 and Mobius M. Mobius waiting. D-90 awkwardly faced Mobius, apologizing for pruning him as he was under orders. Mobius shrugged it off, saying that Ravonna Renslayer was the one who truly needed to apologize.[7]
Hunting Dox[]
D-90 arrests Hunter X-05
- "Is this all of Dox's loyalists?"

Dox and her crew started raiding the armory to find Sylvie Laufeydottir. D-90 ran to B-15 and the others to tell them. B-15 left with D-90 to deal with Dox, and they watched several sets of troops walking through Timedoors. B-15 noted that it was too much for just Sylvie, but D-90 did not believe it.[7] B-15 found one of Dox's soldiers, Hunter X-05, on the Sacred Timeline with Mobius M. Mobius and Loki, so D-90 helped bring him into the Time Variance Authority Office and put him in a holding room. D-90 commented on X-05's resistance, but B-15 insisted that he would talk once he had time to sit in holding.
D-90 arrests Dox
Mobius, Loki, and Sylvie Laufeydottir found Dox's and incapacitated them, but were too late to stop them from pruning a significant number of branches. D-90 assisted in the arrest of the loyalists. Mobius gave Dox to D-90 and asked if they had gotten everyone, so D-90 confirmed that they had all the ones who did not escape as he brought Dox back to the Time Variance Authority.[8]
D-90 accompanies Gamble and Hunter B-15
D-90 accompanied B-15 as she told Judge Gamble what had happened. He stayed by the elevator as B-15 and Gamble discussed their course of action in private.[9]

D-90 went into Dox's holding room with Hunter B-15 and stood by as B-15 asked for help in protecting the new Time Variance Authority. As they left the room, D-90 asked what would happen if the loyalists did not agree. However, B-15 simply told him to help Mobius M. Mobius monitor Victor Timely. The TVA experienced another power surge as D-90 went to meet with Mobius and Timely.[9]

D-90 stayed with Ouroboros, Casey, and Victor Timely as they successfully fixed the Throughput Multiplier. Mobius M. Mobius came to check on the progress of the Multiplier with hot chocolate, fascinating Timely. Timely asked to see the hot chocolate machine in the hallway, so D-90 agreed to take him. Timely used it to get a cup of hot chocolate and offered it to D-90. D-90 silently refused the drink, but Timely nodded at him, so D-90 accepted it and drank it. D-90 loved the taste, and the two silently expressed their enjoyment of it. However, Hunter X-05 suddenly pruned D-90 and took Timely hostage, sending D-90 to the Void.[9]
The New TVA[]
Back in the Office[]
D-90 talks with a colleague
D-90 eventually was able to be rescued from the Void and arrived to a new Time Variance Authority where the Multiverse had opened up. D-90 went to the war room where he talked with his colleagues in preparation for a meeting that had everyone work in unison.[10]
Personality[]
Hunter D-90 started out as a blunt and hostile soldier who is loyal to the original cause of the Time Variance Authority and follows his superior's orders regardless of the situation. He did not have any form of empathy towards people living in the Sacred Timeline as he finds them doomed to die, as shown when he disregards the people seeking refuge in Roxxcart in 2050. He also pruned a fellow agent of the TVA, Mobius M. Mobius, without hesitation when the latter started to doubt the true nature of the TVA.
However, upon learning that he and the rest of his colleagues are in fact Variants, D-90 starts to reconsider his choices, which leads to him joining Mobius M. Mobius and Hunter B-15 in reforming the TVA. He also becomes more relaxed and begins to enjoy the smaller things in life such as drinking hot chocolate, and becomes much more friendly towards Variants, as shown when he interacts with Victor Timely. Despite his blunt nature, he is quick to accept his own mistakes and apologize, as he expressed his apologies to Mobius after Mobius returned to the TVA from the Void.
