Hulu is an American subscription video on demand service owned by Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International. It is offered only to users in Japan and the United States and its overseas territories.

Original Programing

In August 2016, Marvel Television announced Runaways had received a pilot episode order, along with additional scripts, from Hulu. The series was officially ordered in May 2017. Broadcasting began on November 21, 2017.

In May 2019, Hulu announced that a second and a third series, being Ghost Rider and Helstrom, were in development.[1] On September 25, 2019, it was announced that Ghost Rider would not going forward, as the creative team had reached an impasse which could not be resolved.[2] On November 18, 2019, it was announced by Hulu that the third season of Runaways would be the show's final season.[3] On December 14, 2020, Helstrom was canceled by Hulu after one season.[4]

In addition to the original Marvel programming, Hulu currently streams Cloak & Dagger as part of their service, with Spider-Man: Far From Home available as part of the Starz add-on. It also previously streamed Iron Man 2, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot.
