Bruce Banner returns to human form
Having regular contact with a gamma radiation poisoned individual who went by "Mr. Green," Dr. Samuel Sterns used his blood to develop an antidote to hopefully cure Mr. Green of the illness. When Mr. Green arrived at Grayburn College and introduced himself as Bruce Banner, Sterns showed him his antidote. The two agreed to do an experiment with the antidote, during which Banner turned into Hulk, leading a bewildered Sterns to forget what he was supposed to do. Upon a reminder from Betty Ross, Sterns administered the antidote, which seemed to work. However, later on, Banner learned that it did not.[1]
Alternate Universes[]
Pill Form[]
In an alternate universe, Samuel Sterns using data gathered from the Corablanca flower and Bruce Banner's blood, along with data from Project Gamma Pulse, created the antidote, putting it into the form of pills so that Banner could take them and control his monstrous side, the Hulk. Sterns gave the pills to Banner when Banner and Betty Ross found Sterns.[2]
