The Howling Commando Gear is the equipment Antoine Triplett's grandfather used to battle HYDRA as a Howling Commando. A lot of vintage S.H.I.E.L.D. spy gear was made to look innocent in case a spy was caught. ^[1]

Phil Coulson tasked Antoine Triplett and Leo Fitz with creating a 21st century version of the Howling Commando Gear. This version included Holographic Cards.^[2]
