Hotel de Paris is a hotel located in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
History[]
Several prominent personalities went to the Hotel de Paris for the Grand Prix de Monaco, including Tony Stark, Stark Industries CEO Pepper Potts, famed businessman Elon Musk, Hammer Industries CEO Justin Hammer, and Vanity Fair reporter Christine Everhart. Stark and Potts met Hammer and Everhart in the hotel's restaurant, leading to an awkward conversation due to Stark having previously humiliated Hammer during a Senate public hearing.
Without Potts knowing, Stark then left the hotel to join in the race. Everhart promptly ended her interview with Hammer to cover this new story, while Potts also left after witnessing Whiplash's attack on the race. Hammer did remain in the hotel, watching the whole incident on the bar's TV and considering allying himself with Whiplash to get rid of Stark.[1]
