Hot Pants was a brand of fire protection armor for firefighters created by Stark Industries.
History[]
Inspired by the portability and ease of access of the Iron Man Armor: Mark V, Tony Stark created the Hot Pants suits to serve as collapsable and portable armor that could be worn by firefighters to increase their safety during rescues. A set of Hot Pants armor was displayed at the Stark Expo in Hong Kong.[1]
Capabilities[]
The Hot Pants suits were capable of withstanding the high temperatures produced by fires while keeping the human body inside protected. The armor could collapse down into a small pack for portability. When activated, the armor's pieces would break apart and fly onto the user, rapidly constructing the full suit. The suits were equipped with tubes mounted on their arms that could spray fire suppressants to help put out fires. The suits' visors were also equipped with Stark Everglass, making them near-indestructible and self-repairing.[1]
