To avoid capture by S.H.I.E.L.D. in case their plan to obtain the Darkhold failed, Holden Radcliffe and Aida created an LMD of the former. LMD Radcliffe eventually took the place of the real Radcliffe and was arrested when LMD May, who had discovered the truth about her true nature, confronted him about it.[1]

"I still have feelings. I still care about you, Fitz!" "I've got to hand it to Radcliffe. You certainly act like it."
LMD Radcliffe was placed in a Containment Room at the Playground, where Leo Fitz confronted him about his betrayal. Realizing that he was not talking to the real Radcliffe, Fitz took the guard's handgun and shot LMD Radcliffe in the head, killing him.[1]
Leo Fitz's Questioning[]
"I can't do it. It's way beyond me." "That's your father talking. Isn't that what he used to say to you? Not enough, not smart enough?" "Why would you say that?" "Because I knew him. I wanted to tell you, but I was afraid it would open old wounds."
Leo Fitz later reactivated LMD Radcliffe and tried alongside Jemma Simmons and Alphonso Mackenzie to make him help them find the real Holden Radcliffe and Aida were, but he refused to cooperate. Later, Fitz tried to know it as pirating his Quantum Brain, but through Radcliffe's words, Simmons understood that Melinda May with them is a LMD. She prevented Daisy Johnson who helped Phil Coulson to neutralize her. Fitz, Simmons, and Mackenzie later melted LMD Radcliffe in a furnace, permanently destroying him.[2]

Even when he became an android, Radcliffe's personality remained intact and behaves exactly like the original, retaining some of his aspects that he also had as a human.
For example, Radcliffe, kept his sarcasm and continued to be sarcasm, not wanting to reveal what it was or how it was created, but he was also very sincere, despite Simmons saying he was lying, that Fitz knew his father Alistair Fitz, although this angered his son.
Radcliffe also teased Mackenzie about being a Christian and about the laws of Jesus and Almighty God, which Mackenzie firmly believes in, due to the fact that Radcliffe himself was a transhumanist who violated the laws of nature and changed them to his liking, angering him and nearly killed him, were it not for Fitz's intervention, when he finally figured out how to evade Radcliffe's program.

LMD Radcliffe's interior
Being an android, LMD Radcliffe's physiology was superior than a normal human being. Moreover, like all the LMDs built after Aida, LMD Radcliffe was powered and animated by a Quantum Brain, a replica of a human brain which displayed the same complexity and capabilities than its biological counterpart but is only made of light.
Enhanced Strength: Being an android, LMD Radcliffe was stronger than his counterpart, but he never demonstrated it, as he was designed as a diversion to be caught by S.H.I.E.L.D. while the real Radcliffe escaped.
Enhanced Durability: As an android, the mechanical structure of LMD Radcliffe's body made him more resilient than humans. He initially survived a shot in the forehead that would otherwise be fatal, and while it shorted him and made him inactive, he was eventually being able to be repared from the injury.
Enhanced Stamina: His power source allowed the LMD to exert himself for long periods of time without rest between charges. He managed to stay active since first replacing the real Holden Radcliffe until his eventual destruction.
Enhanced Reflexes: His Quantum Brain was programmed with a shorter reaction time than humans, however, as his primary directive was to fool S.H.I.E.L.D. into thinking he was the real Holden Radcliffe, he chose not to evade being shot in the forehead by Leo Fitz, as he desperately tried to convince him that he was still an ally.
Longevity: Potentially, as a Life-Model Decoy, Radcliffe's internal power source would have allowed him to last for years. However, he was destroyed not long after being built.
Pain Immunity: The synthetic nervous system within the Life-Model Decoys was tweaked once Aida experienced pain herself, disabling all subsequent decoys from the feeling that was intended to accurately mimic human reaction. Therefore, LMD Radcliffe suffered no actual pain, not even when shot at point-blank range in the forehead by Leo Fitz.
Vocal Replication: LMD Radcliffe could alter his voice, and mimic other people's voices or even animal sounds.
Abilities[]
Expert Tactician: Programmed with Holden Radcliffe's intelligence and knowledge, the Radcliffe LMD sought to further Radcliffe's agenda and protect him, by letting himself be captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. and, while on their custody, attempt to convince Leo Fitz that he was the real Radcliffe. Even when his true nature was discovered, LMD Radcliffe hindered Fitz's investigation and did not cooperate.
