History[]
A Loosened Pole[]
Jessica Jones visited the office of Hogarth, Chao & Benowitz in order to get a new case to work on. Upon entering Pam asked her if Jeri Hogarth asked for her, to which she while admittedly lying answered with yes. Jones then asked encountered Hogarth if she has something for her. While at first Hogarth did not give her a job and started to discuss the many flaws Jones has shown so far. Jones eventually asked Hogarth verry strongly for a case. In her office Hogarth gave Jones the assignment of serving a subpoena to a Gregory Spheeris: an owner of numerous gentlemen clubs. One of Spheeeris dancers apparently injured herself on a loosened pole. When Jones suspected she had an ulterior motive Hogarth admitted several of her other clients were interested in taking Spheeris property. After accepting the job Jones left the office.[3]
