Ho Yinsen was an Afghan scientist and friend of Tony Stark.

Ho Yinsen met Tony Stark at a time when Stark realized he had created a large mess as a weapons dealer. Stark promised Yinsen that he would spend the rest of his life cleaning up that mess.[1]
