Major Hill is a United States Air Force officer who participated in the rescue of Captain Vassant.

"We lost contact with Vassant's plane just after it took off. We need you to make sure that LAF doesn't deliver on their threat. Vassant's plane has already entered Tunisian airspace. U.S. military cannot be seen operating out there."

When the United States Air Force was informed that LAF hijacked the military plane in Tunisian airspace and took Vassant hostage, Hill enlisted Falcon for the rescue mission. Hill briefed Falcon about the mission details, noting he must rescue Vassant before LAF reaches Libya, since the US military could not operate there. Hill then informed Falcon that JoaquĆ­n Torres will provide him with the ground support and asked Falcon to be subtle, before he dropped off the plane and successfully rescued Vassant.[1]
