With Bushmaster's war becoming worse, Luke Cage used a Stylers' phone to contact McIver and schedule a one-on-one fair fight. The two decided to fight on High Bridge. Cage got there and the two engaged in a super-powered fight. However, Bushmaster went back on his word of being fair and blew a powder in Cage's face, causing him to become temporarily paralyzed. Bushmaster then kicked Cage off of the bridge into the water to drown.[1]
