"Prophecy speaks of the Soul Stone choosing a hero, and out of every single life, every soul in the Multiverse, you have been chosen."
―"Watcher" to Hero of the Multiverse[src]

The Hero of the Multiverse is a human selected by Infinity Witch, under the guise of Watcher, to collect the Infinity Stones across the Multiverse for her so that she could revive her husband Vision and forge her own Multiverse. The Hero was trained by Wong in sorcery and controlling the stones before being sent by "Watcher" to various universes where certain people had attempted to steal different Infinity Stones. Once Infinity Witch revealed her deception, the Hero joined forces with the foes they had fought in order to disperse her power throughout the Multiverse. They destroyed the Infinity Stones to preserve the proper flow of events, allowing their allies to return home. The Watcher then introduced the Hero to Captain Carter, and they worked to protect the Multiverse with her.
