Biography[]
Reputation as a Warrior[]
- "We could recruit Ra, Hercules, Tūmatauenga. Quetzalcóatl, maybe."
- ―Thor[src]
In 2025, Hercules was among several well known and reputed gods inhabiting Omnipotence City at the time of Gorr the God Butcher's campaign to eliminate all gods, with Thor citing him as a possible candidate for joining his team to take out the God Butcher.[1]
Restoring the Status of Gods[]
Sometime after the encounter with the Asgardians in Omnipotence City, Hercules met with his father, who had been injured during the skirmish by Thor. His father lamented that the name and status of the gods had been squandered by Thor's interactions with humanity and that they were no longer respected. He deduced that the gods would have to show humans why they are feared as gods again and tasked Hercules with taking out Thor, in which Hercules agreed to.[1]
