Heimdall is an Asgardian Gatekeeper of Asgard and the guardian of its Bifrost.

Biography[]

"My lord, forgive me. Wherever Hela is gone, I can no longer see her."
"You think her dead at the hands of these mortals?"

When Hela's ambitions for conquest grew too much for Odin, Heimdall helped him confront her in Himinbjorg. Odin decided to strip Hela of her power and banish her to Earth, so Heimdall opened the Bifrost Bridge as Odin cast his daughter out. Heimdall watched over Hela while she was on Earth, but soon lost sight of her. Heimdall reported this to Odin, who suspected that she was dead. Heimdall revealed the existence of the Ten Rings owned by Xu Wenwu, so Odin planned to go to Earth and eliminate Xu and claim the weapons.[1]
