Biography[]

Working at the Kyln[]

"On my command! Number one! Number two! Number three! All fire on my command! Three! Two! One!"
―Head Riot Guard[src]

The Head Riot Guard was an operative of the Nova Corps who attained the rank of Denarian and was stationed at the Kyln as a guard. He escorted Peter Quill, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot upon their arrival at the prison.

The next day, the new prisoners, along with Drax the Destroyer, began an attempt to escape the prison. The guard led a riot team to the watchtower which the prisoners had taken control of. He ordered his team to shoot three missiles at the watchtower. Before he was able to give his last command for his whole team to shoot at once, Rocket disabled the Kyln's artificial gravity, causing the Head Riot Guard and his men to float off of the ground. The riot team was unable to fire their weapons and the prisoners were able to escape.

Ronan the Accuser and his army arrived at the Kyln searching for Gamora. Nebula held the Head Riot Guard at swordpoint while they interrogated him about Gamora's destination. The guard swore he did not know, and Nebula believed him. However, the guard was stabbed and killed by one of Ronan's Sakaaran soldiers, along with the rest of the guards and prisoners at the Kyln, to prevent the Nova Corps from learning Ronan's objective.[1]
