What If Peggy (50) — Barton encounters Captain Carter

Seventy years after World War II ended, Clint Barton and Nick Fury were at the Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility in Nevada to see the results of Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. When testing with the Tesseract, it opened up a wormhole, causing the remains of the Champion of HYDRA to be released as well as Captain Carter. With Fury confused at who she was, Barton reminded him that it was Captain Carter as she asked where Steve Rogers was. Fury explained to her that World War II ended seventy years ago and asked if she'd be okay.^[2]
