The Hawk Nests are Asgardian nests where Habrok Hawks keep their eggs.
History[]
Stealing an egg from the Hawk Nest is one of the tasks that must be completed in the Virtue Challenge. During a Virtue Challenge which occurred in 1521, the Warriors Three entered the contest for fun. While Fandral attempted to reach for the egg, while Hogun distracted the hawk and Volstagg shouted encouraging remarks. Fandral stole the egg successfully, but fell when Hogun got pushed into him by the hawk, causing it to break when they both fell on Volstagg.
They were found by Thor, Loki, and Sif, and allowed them their chance to retrieve the egg. While the hawk defended its nest, Loki created a mirror image of it, and hawk began to fight itself. Sifters nearly fell, but Thor caught her. Sif reached for the eggs and retrieved two, and then climbed back down the mountain to help the Warriors Three fight off wolves from their treasureyard. Once Volstagg returned a bone he had stolen, Sif gave the second egg to Fandral. Brunok, Siegrold, and Hilda later retrieved an egg themselves.[1]
