Harvey is a gambler in Hell's Kitchen who lost a game to Kilgrave.
Biography[]
Poker Game[]
One evening, Harvey was participating in a poker game that involved Kilgrave. As Harvey went to light his cigar, Kilgrave disapproved and threatened him; Harvey, the larger man, attempted to do it anyway, but Kilgrave used his power on him to have him extinguish the cigar.
As the hand was dealt, Kilgrave was disappointed with his cards; Harvey saw Kilgrave's expression and told him that he needed to work on his poker face. Kilgrave then activated his mind control and told Harvey to bet all his money on this hand. Kilgrave then took things a step further and told everyone at the table to bet it all, then forfeit, causing Kilgrave to win over a million dollars.
Kilgrave tipped the dealer and was leaving when Harvey went to stop him, insisting rudely that he wanted an opportunity to regain his losses. Kilgrave then enthralled him to discover painfully the amount of time needed to break a post with his head. Others ran to Harvey in an attempt to get him to stop ramming his head.[1]
