The Hanselbauer Hotel is a hotel in Bad Wiessee, Germany where Ernst Kaufmann was killed by Johann Schmidt.

Ernst Kaufmann and Krupp stayed at the Hanselbauer Hotel, which was meant for Sturmabteilung officers only. Kaufmann swam in the pool. Johann Schmidt killed Krupp and all of the other Sturmabteilung soldiers in the building, and approached Kaufmann in the pool, telling the Sturmabteilung leader what he had done. Schmidt said he was acting with Heinrich Himmler's permission, and killed Kaufmann.[1]
